b5f360c425 rdma: Maintain per device PD which is persistent across reconnect
SPDK NVMe RDMA initiator used the default PD per RDMA device. Default PD
may be changed when all QPs for the RDMA device are destroyed and created
again.

For multipath, the RDMA zero copy feature require the PD per RDMA device
to be persistent when all QPs for the RDMA device are destroyed and
created again.

Maintain such persistent PDs in this patch.

Add two APIs, spdk_rdma_get_pd() and spdk_rdma_put_pd().

In each call of two APIs, synchronize RDMA device list with
rdma_get_devices().

Context may be deleted anytime by rdma-core. To avoid such deletion,
hold the returned array by rdma_get_devices().

RDMA device has PD, context, ref. count, and removed flag. If context
is missing in rdma_get_devices(), set the removed flag to true. Then,
if the ref count becomes zero, free the PD and the RDMA device.

The ref. count of a RDMA device is incremented when spdk_rdma_get_pd()
is called and decremented when spdk_rdma_put_pd() is called.

To simplify synchronization, sort the returned array by
rdma_get_devices().

To avoid resource leakage, add destructor function and free all PDs
and related data at termination.

7fc2c0856e lib/nvmf: use DSA to offload recv data digest crc32 in nvmf-TCP
allow DSA device to async offload crc32 calculation in nvmf-TCP

This patch can use DSA to accelerate crc32 computation, making
the io performance of TCP paths using crc32 approach the io
performance of TCP paths that do not use crc32.

Using SLIST to minimize the performance drop. SLIST has less
operation compared to TAILQ.

Thinking about memory thrashing, we should use the same memory as
possible to receive new PDUs. So, insert newly freed PDU in to head
is better.

The performance drop is within 1% compared to the TCP path without
crc32.

3e47d7fa22 sock: asynchronous readv interface
This patch defines a new function, spdk_sock_readv_async(), which allows
the user to send a readv request and receive a callback once the
supplied buffer is filled with data from the socket. It works simiarly
to asynchronous writes, but there can only be a single outstanding read
request at a time.

For now, the interface isn't implemented and any calls will return
-ENOTSUP. Subsequent patches will add support for it in the uring
module and as well as emulation in the posix module.

8dd1cd2104 check_format: For C files only, fix return type breaks
In SPDK, declarations have the return type on the same line. Definitions
have the return type on a separate line. Astyle has an option for
enforcing this. Unfortunately, it seems to have two bugs:

1) It doesn't work correctly at all on C++ files.
2) It often fails on functions that return enums, or long type names

Deal with 1) by adjusting the check_format.sh script to only tell astyle
to fix return type line breaks for C files and not C++. Deal with 2) by
adding a few typedefs to work around the problem.

488570ebd4 Replace most BSD 3-clause license text with SPDX identifier.
Many open source projects have moved to using SPDX identifiers
to specify license information, reducing the amount of
boilerplate code in every source file. This patch replaces
the bulk of SPDK .c, .cpp and Makefiles with the BSD-3-Clause
identifier.

Almost all of these files share the exact same license text,
and this patch only modifies the files that contain the
most common license text. There can be slight variations
because the third clause contains company names - most say
"Intel Corporation", but there are instances for Nvidia,
Samsung, Eideticom and even "the copyright holder".

Used a bash script to automate replacement of the license text
with SPDX identifier which is checked into scripts/spdx.sh.

5088a8930d nvme/tcp: check PDU type before checking padding
Not all PDUs that have can have data can also have padding - e.g.
C2HTermReq has data, but cannot have padding and the PDO field should be
reserved. Therefore, for these PDUs the data starts exactly at the end
of the header (and its digest, if present) and we shouldn't be using PDO
to calculate its offset.

This fixes handling for the C2HTermReq PDUs, as it used to be broken and
usually (if target set PDO=0) resulted in an overflow when calculating
psh_len.

ffef30ae0d modules/accel_dsa: update IDXD references to DSA where it makes sense
IDXD has always been used everywhere but technically it stands for
the driver, not the HW (Intel Data Streaming Accelerator Driver)
where the X comes from "Streaming Accelerator" somehow. Anyway, the
underlying hardware is just DSA. It doesn't matter much now but
upcoming patches will add support for a new HW accelerator called
the Intel In-Memory Analytics Accelerator which we'll call IAA and
it will use the same (mostly) device driver (IDXD) as DSA. So, calling
the HW what it is will lessen confusion when adding IAA support.

This patch just does renaming for the accel_fw module and associated
files (RPC, etc).

d58a2f6cc5 lib/accel: support multiple accel modules (aka engines) at once
We enable multiple engines by:

* getting rid of the globals that point to the one available HW
and one available SW engine

* adding a submit_tasks() entry point for the SW engine so that
it is treated like any other engine allowing us to just call
submit_tasks() to the assigned engine for the opcode instead of
checking what is supported

* changing the definition of engine capabilities from
"HW accelerated" to simply "supported"

* during init, use a global (g_engines_opc) that contains engines
and is indexed by opcode so we know what the best engine is for each
op code

* future patches will add RPC's to override engine priorities or
specifically assign an opcode(s) to an engine.

9bff828f99 sock: introduce dynamic zerocopy according to data size
MSG_ZEROCOPY is not always effective as mentioned in
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v4.15/networking/msg_zerocopy.html.

Currently in spdk, once we enable sendmsg zerocopy, then all data
transferred through _sock_flush are sent with zerocopy, and vice
versa. Here dynamic zerocopy is introduced to allow data sent with
MSG_ZEROCOPY or not according to its size, which can be enabled by
setting "enable_dynamic_zerocopy" as true.

Test with 16 P4610 NVMe SSD, 2 initiators, target's and initiators'
configurations are the same as spdk report:
https://ci.spdk.io/download/performance-reports/SPDK_tcp_perf_report_2104.pdf

For posix socket, rw_percent=0(randwrite), it has 1.9%~8.3% performance boost
tested with target 1~40 cpu cores and qdepth=128,256,512. And it has no obvious
influence when read percentage is greater than 50%.

For uring socket, rw_percent=0(randwrite), it has 1.8%~7.9% performance boost
tested with target 1~40 cpu cores and qdepth=128,256,512. And it still has
1%~7% improvement when read percentage is greater than 50%.

37b68d7287 accel: cleanup by getting rid of capabilties enum
In support of upcoming patches and to greatly simplify things,
the capabilites enum which held bit positions for each opcode
has been removed. Only the opcodes enum remains and thus only
opcodes are used throughout. For the capabiltiies bitmap a helper
function is added to convert from opcode to bit position. Right
now it is used in the IO path but in upcoming patches that goes away
and the conversion is only done at init time.

6301f8915d lib/sock: provide a hint to picking optimal poll group
The process of matching qpair to poll group is split into
two distinct parts that occur on different threads.
See spdk_nvmf_tgt_new_qpair().

This results in a race condition for TCP between spdk_sock_map_lookup()
and spdk_sock_map_insert(), which are called in spdk_nvmf_get_optimal_poll_group()
and spdk_nvmf_poll_group_add() respectively.

Fixes #2113

This patch picks a hint from nvmf_tcp for next poll group,
which is then passed down to spdk_sock_map_lookup().

When matching placement_id exists, but does not have
a poll group assigned - the hint will be used.

9072c4ad0d accel: create SW Engine Channel if HW Engine not supports
Currently either HW Engine Channel or SW Engine Channel will be used.

In the case that HW Engine Channel is used while does not support related

So that this is an issue that it still refers to the HW Engine Channel
while needs SW Eninge Channel to handle.

This patch introduces the SW Eninge Channel and always initializes there
in case that HW Engine does not support some operations.

Related UT also added to simulate the case the IOAT does not support CRC
and then SW Eninge needs to properly handle it.

1cfdbd429f include/mock.h: prevent expension of syscall name
If a platform defines a syscall using a macro (e.g. #define open _open)
then wrapping it fails because DEFINE_RETURN_MOCK and MOCK_GET

df42f3582b lib/accel: eliminate need for caller to schedule completions
Previously the accel_perf tool would look at whether it had HW
or SW commands to know whether to execute the callback right away
or schdule to avoid blowing the stack (SW calls are sync).

Moved this to the SW module (part of the accel engine) so the
caller doesn't have to worry about. Allowed for a few simplifcations
in the tool as well.

Also, instead of using send_msg to call the completion we add it to
a list in the sw module that a new poller uses to perform the
completions as this is more efficient the sending a message to the
same thread.

a86c94b3d1 lib/event: cleanup and document scheduler API
This patch cleans up the header file, structures and
parameters of scheduler API. While documenting the
functionality.

- made scheduler name const
- removed typedefs for schedueler callbacks
- balance() now accepts uint32_t for array size instead of an int
- removed unused _spdk_lw_thread_set_core()
- renamed _spdk_scheduler_period_set() to _spdk_scheduler_set_period()
- renamed _spdk_scheduler_period_get() to _spdk_scheduler_get_period()
- renamed _spdk_scheduler_list_add() to _spdk_scheduler_register()

This is preparation to making this API public.

4c5246c97f lib/event: add governor structure name in SPDK_GOVERNOR_REGISTER macro
Registering multiple governors would fail due to them having
the same name. Only saved by the fact that right now,
there is only one governor registered in this fashion.

Fix it by adding name of the governor structure passed
to the function name.

d6c4f8cf6b lib/event: refactor _spdk_scheduler_set()
By default g_scheduler is now NULL. It can be set
either by event framework or RPC.
To keep RPC consistent, the 'static' scheduler was kept.

All access to the g_scheduler is done via _spdk_scheduler_get().
Access to its members is done to balance, get name for RPC and
through _spdk_scheduler_set(). All of them happen on scheduling
reactor and don't pose race condition when changing scheduler.
There is no need to delay init/deinit of scheduler via g_new_scheduler.
This variable was removed and all that happens in _spdk_scheduler_set().

To unset and deinitialize current scheduler,
_spdk_scheduler_set(NULL) has to be called.
This results in moving scheduler deinitalization to that
call too.

Every spdk_scheduler callback is now mandatory.

2e394521a6 lib/event: refactor _spdk_governor_set()
By default g_governor is now NULL. It can be set
either by event framework or schedulers directly.

Dynamic_scheduler and gscheduler specifically want
to use the dpdk_governor, so their initialization
now sets it explicitly.

To unset and deinitialize current governor,
_spdk_governor_set(NULL) has to be called.
This results in moving governor deinitalization to that
call too.

The "default" governor has been removed.

Every spdk_governor callback is now mandatory.

5bf2973e9f lib/event: remove per core init/deinit API from governor
There is no explicit need for the spdk governors initialization
to occur on per core basis.

This implementation detail for dpdk_governor is now hidden
in the init/deinit calls. There is no recourse when failing
deinit for a certain core, so ignore the return code.
Changed return type for deinit in governor and scheduler to void.

While here modified the callbacks for scheduler to no
longer require passing currently selected governor as an argument.

b49fa72b22 nvme/tcp: use new async+poll APIs for fabrics connect
The fabric connect command is now sent without. It will make it
possible to make `nvme_tcp_ctrlr_connect_qpair()` non-blocking too by
moving the polling to process_completions (this will be done in
subsequent patches). Additionally, two extra states,
`NVME_TCP_QPAIR_STATE_FABRIC_CONNECT_SEND` and
`NVME_TCP_QPAIR_STATE_FABRIC_CONNECT_POLL`, were added to keep track of
the state of the connect command. These states are only used by the
initiator code, as the target doesn't need them.
