Jiewei Ke 49c6afbf12 thread: speed up io_device lookup by using rbtree ... Use the macros for red black tree provided by Free BSD to speed up io_device lookup. This change was reverted once but is re-submitted because the critical issue was fixed by the preceding patches. In addition to the fix, add unit tests to verify the fix explicitly.
