a1c7ae2d3f bdev: remove generation of UUIDs for bdevs that do not provide one
Remove automatic generation of UUIDs for bdevs
that do not provide this value themselves.
This is to clarify whether this field can be
depended upon.

Modified match files to reflect change in UUID
generation.

Disabled nullglob shell option, as it deletes
empty arrays during word splitting. Bdevs with no
aliases would instead of "[]", have nullpointer
printed, which makes resulting JSON invalid.

Part of enhancement proposed in #2516.

88055b422f test/spdkcli: reduce amount of HUGEMEM memory requested
We do not need to force usage of 4096MB of memory for these
tests. Let's just remove how that is being forced.

This allows us to also remove the setup.sh call from
the spdkcli test common.sh script. Its only purpose
was to increase the amount of memory allocated to satisfy
the spdkcli tests, but now that the spdkcli tests aren't
forcing so much memory to be allocated, we can remove
that too.

Fixes issue #2694.

Note: these limits were in the original commit for the
test scripts - 7e8206c - but it is not clear why they
were added instead of just relying on DPDK dynamic
memory allocation..

79415753ea bdev: register bdev's UUID as its alias
In many cases, addressing bdevs by their UUIDs is often easier than
using their names, which can be somewhat arbitrary. For instance, the
NVMe bdev builds a name by addng the n{NSID} suffix to the controller's
name, while the UUID is filled with NGUID (if available).

The UUID alias is stored in the form defined by RFC 4122, meaning five
groups of lower-case hexadecimal characters. It's important to note
that bdev layer uses case-sensitive name comparison, so the user needs
to use the same textual UUID representation.

227428c3a4 autotest: Don't override default amount of hugepages on Linux to 8GB
This is relevant mostly for the VMs. Allocating that much memory puts
a lot of pressure on remaining pieces of the system as currently we
allocate total of 12GB memory per VM instance in the CI pool. Default of
4GB hp should be enough to cover majority of the tests hence if there's
any suite that requires more memory, setup.sh should be called there
directly with an optimal value.

This is done to make sure we can accomodate proper resources in the CI
by knowing what are the actual requirements rather than just blindly
allocating "as much as possible".

7cc83b6258 Revert "lib/event: do not spawn a thread for each reactor"
This reverts commit 72eed604b4.

spdk_vhost_init() relies on having a thread on each reactor.
Without the revert, every vhost controller is created on the same
core and even passing --cpumask when creating does not affect it.

Proper fix would be to change spdk_vhost_init(),
but would require additional testing. For now revert the patch
that spawned always idle threads.

78f44434a6 lvol: report io_unit_size as block_size instead of page size
Bdev underneath lvs has a certain value set as block size,
then lvolstore inherits that as `io_unit_size`,
which ends up as block size for the lvol bdev presents.

Before this patch lvs on device with block size of 512,
would create lvol bdev with block size of 512.
Meanwhile reporting in bdev_lvol_get_lvstores(),
that block_size is 4k instead.

This was result of addition of io_unit_size and
forgetting to update the value here. Previously
only I/O of page_size was allowed.

This patch adjusts the value reported to
io_unit_size.

Alternatively it could have been removed,
or name changed to "io_unit_size".
Yet for API compatibility reason this name
remains.

Info on actual page size which is always 4k,
is not useful to bdev users. No need to add
another field for that.

1551197db5 rpc: Deprecate max_qpairs_per_ctrlr parameter
This parameter describes the number of admin and IO
qpairs while admin qpair always exists and should not
be configured explicitly.
Introduce a new parameter `max_io_qpairs_per_ctrlr`
which configures the number of IO qpairs.
Internal structure of NVMF transport is not changed,
both RPC parameters configure the same nvmf transport parameter.

Deprecate max_qpairs_per_ctrlr in spdkcli as well

Side change: update dif_insert_or_strip description -
it can be used by TCP and RDMA transports

Config files parsing is not changed since it is deprecated

Fixes #1378
