per Intel policy to include file commit date using git cmd
below. The policy does not apply to non-Intel (C) notices.
git log --follow -C90% --format=%ad --date default <file> | tail -1
and then pull just the year from the result.
Intel copyrights were not added to files where Intel either had
no contribution ot the contribution lacked substance (ie license
header updates, formatting changes, etc)
For intel copyrights added, --follow and -C95% were used.

Don't touch existing hp allocations when they already meet the NRHUGE
requirement. Introduce new environment switch, SHRINK_HUGE, to
override that new behavior.

This just verifies a modest setup.sh's output which is of little
relevance. On top of that, depending on the system's state, the
test itself may be flaky so get rid of it.

In some occasions the total number of available hugepages increases
by the account of reserved and/or surplus hugepages allocated by the
kernel. This affects the test where it ends up with bigger number of
hugepages then actually requested via setup.sh.
Hugepages overcommitting is disabled under CI nodes, however, this
issue spontaneously appears regardless. To rectify, add the extra
hugepages while checking the expected number + some debug to see the
state of meminfo in case the test still fails.

This is relevant mostly for the VMs. Allocating that much memory puts
a lot of pressure on remaining pieces of the system as currently we
allocate total of 12GB memory per VM instance in the CI pool. Default of
4GB hp should be enough to cover majority of the tests hence if there's
any suite that requires more memory, setup.sh should be called there
directly with an optimal value.
This is done to make sure we can accomodate proper resources in the CI
by knowing what are the actual requirements rather than just blindly
allocating "as much as possible".

512 and 1024 number of hugpages is not a sensible value in case 1G
hugepages are in use. Instead of setting fixed number of hugepages,
determine it safely based on the default size and allocate 1GB for
node0, 2GB for node1 (if present).

These tests are meant to "predict" the right number of hugepages
given setup.sh instance will set, depending on its environment
options (HUGENODE, HUGEMEM, etc.).
