5b50d3e8b7 log: add deprecated tracking API
When use of deprecated featues is encountered, SPDK now calls
SPDK_LOG_DEPRECATED(). This logs the use of deprecated functionality in
a consistent way, making it easy to add further instrumentation to catch
code paths that trigger deprecated behavior.

a6dbe3721e update Intel copyright notices
per Intel policy to include file commit date using git cmd
below. The policy does not apply to non-Intel (C) notices.

git log --follow -C90% --format=%ad --date default <file> | tail -1

and then pull just the 4 digit year from the result.

Intel copyrights were not added to files where Intel either had
no contribution ot the contribution lacked substance (ie license
header updates, formatting changes, etc). Contribution date used
"--follow -C95%" to get the most accurate date.

Note that several files in this patch didn't end the license/(c)
block with a blank comment line so these were added as the vast
majority of files do have this last blank line. Simply there for
consistency.

0af934b38c event: add CPU lock files
When running SPDK application on a given set of
CPU cores, create lock files for each of them.
This wil prevent user misconfiguration and
assigning a core to more than one SPDK instance.

The introduced mechanism is based on device locks
implemented in spdk_pci_device_claim() function.

Add a command line option to disable lock files.
This feature will be useful in cases where differing
CPU cores is impossible (eg. setup with only one core
available).

The patch also fixes all existing cases of overlapping
core masks.

19c1d632f1 trace: update trace help inside SPDK target
Delete bit masks from trace help (found inside
build/bin/spdk_tgt -h help text), as they do not
provide useful information, are much harder to
remember and use, and migh leave user confused.
Since we provide trace group names anyway, bit masks
are excessive.

Change --tpoint-group-mask parameter name to
--tpoint-group, because we do not provide
bit masks anymore.

Drop "default" tpoint group mask from help text,
since it does not enable any tracepoints and
may confuse the user.

39ecb61ade event: pass "const struct option*" to spdk_app_parse_args()
before this change, we cannot pass a `const struct option*` to
spdk_app_parse_args() even the callee does not mutate the value pointed
by the pointer. in other words, we are not able to write something like:

static const option g_options[] = {...};
// ...
spdk_app_parse_args(argc, argv, &opts, "",
  g_options, app_parse_arg, app_usage);

after this change, the requirement of the type of the `option` argument
is relaxed, so we can pass a `const struct option*` to this function
now.

5a6f3a6f91 event: accept negative --shm-id as a valid option
Before this change, a negative `--shm-id` value is rejected by
`spdk_app_parse_args()` and this function simply errors out after
detecting it. However, `build_eal_cmdline()` has a dedicated branch
checking for a negative `opts->shm_id` and passes `--no-shconf` down
to DPDK as a parameter, so we cannot disable the shared config support
in DPDK.

After this change, a negative value `--shm-id` is accepted, but if it
cannot be parsed as an integer, `spdk_app_parse_args()` errors
out as before. In result we can disable shared config support in DPDK
by passing `--shm-id=-1` to SPDK application.

488570ebd4 Replace most BSD 3-clause license text with SPDX identifier.
Many open source projects have moved to using SPDX identifiers
to specify license information, reducing the amount of
boilerplate code in every source file. This patch replaces
the bulk of SPDK .c, .cpp and Makefiles with the BSD-3-Clause
identifier.

Almost all of these files share the exact same license text,
and this patch only modifies the files that contain the
most common license text. There can be slight variations
because the third clause contains company names - most say
"Intel Corporation", but there are instances for Nvidia,
Samsung, Eideticom and even "the copyright holder".

Used a bash script to automate replacement of the license text
with SPDX identifier which is checked into scripts/spdx.sh.

5fed6bd89a trace: allow usage of tracepoint groups while enabling traces
Let user pass a name of tracepoint group. Currently the only way to
enable traces with '-e' option is to pass the tpoint mask, which is
cumbersome. This patch modifies our API to accept strings as parameters.
Example:

-e nvmf_tcp:2,thread

enables nvmf_tcp's second tracepoint and the whole thread tpoint group.

Modified spdk_trace_enable_tpoint_group() - it will be also used in
the changed form later in the series to accept tpoint mask when using
RPCs to activate/deactivate traces.

8616736318 trace: allow specifying a subset of a group's tpoints
This patch aims to introduce a change in enabling
tracepoints inside SPDK. Currently every hit tracepoint will
be stored inside an internal buffer, what is inconvenient when
looking for certain information (eg. starting IO to record
some tracepoints, stopping the IO and having the tracepoint
buffer flooded with irrelevant information before copying the
contents connected with IO operations).

The tpoint mask option (-e) has been extended with ':' character.
User may now enter tpoint mask for individual trace points
inside chosen tpoint group.
Example: "-e 0x20:3f", where "0x20" stands for tpoint group,
':' is a separator and "3f" is the tpoint mask.

cff96883fc lib/event: remove is_scheduling flag from reactor
There is only one g_scheduling_reactor (main core), the is_scheduling
flag for it is used to block starting new gather_metrics before
previous one is finished.

Meanwhile is_scheduling flag on other reactors was used to block
destroying lw_threads while scheduling happens. It was only needed
because scheduler interacted with the same lw_thread pointers as
each reactor. Previous patch removed this dependency, instead
spdk_thread ids is used. If an spdk_thread is destroyed,
while scheduling _threads_reschedule_thread() handles it.

It is no longer required to block destruction of lw_threads
based on this flag.

Instead of using the main core reactor flag, a g_scheduling_in_progress
is introduced.

Removed _spdk_get_scheduling_reactor() and instead shared the value
of g_scheduling_in_progress between reactor.c and app.c.
